Grooming Report #13 Drug and Tracked to Excellent!
Early this morning all trails were drug and tracked. We were able to smooth out most drifts from the high winds on Tuesday and Wednesday. All trails are now in excellent condition. Some very minor bumps and areas of low snow remain on Mud Lake, New River trail, and the River trail in the gorge.

Grooming Report #12 Rolled and Tracked
Today we rolled around 6" of new snow, and reset tracks everywhere except Mud Lake and the New River trail. Tracks in open areas will be drifted over. Very good conditions everywhere. We plan to smooth out drifts tomorrow with the drag, and reset tracks.
Tracks set up great in most places |
There was a little too much snow for the Ginzu, as snow was getting pushed out the sides. This was just rolled an hour before |

Grooming Report #11 Rolled, Drug, and Tracked!
All trails were rolled Monday afternoon after 5" or so of high density snow fell. We got out early Tuesday morning and drug all trails, then set tracks. Tracks set up well, but drifting in open areas may cover them. The west side of Mud Lake is quite bumpy from all the drifting, but we plan to have it smoothed out in the next couple days. Very good to excellent conditions everywhere. We will be out early tomorrow (Wednesday) and either roll or drag, and reset tracks.
The snow was not very deep, but the 5" we received was very dense. Towards the end, our largest tow machine blew a belt |
Dragging helped smooth out most of the drifts, but some trails will need more passes |
Tracks were setting up well. We finished setting tracks before the temperature dropped below freezing |
